Piper took to the leash/ harness very well. I assume because it's just like a leash. She just lays down, and has even stood up and looked out the window once. I knew she was safe because she couldn't jump out, as she was secured. Great product!
I purchased 2 leashes one for a-7# dog and 1-13# dog. Both of my dogs love this safety leash. They still have the freedom to look out the window and turn around, and lay down without getting tangled up. It's awesome for me as their Mom-because I know they are safe and secure in the back seat which lets me concentrate on my driving and not getting distracted. Wer're all winners!
