Piper took to the leash/ harness very well. I assume because it's just like a leash. She just lays down, and has even stood up and looked out the window once. I knew she was safe because she couldn't jump out, as she was secured. Great product!
I purchased 2 leashes one for a-7# dog and 1-13# dog. Both of my dogs love this safety leash. They still have the freedom to look out the window and turn around, and lay down without getting tangled up.
